Welcome to Plaiss.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Plaiss website, platform, services, visualisation tools, content and related functionality (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using Plaiss, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Plaiss is operated by Plaiss Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales. References to “Plaiss”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Plaiss Ltd.

Plaiss is a home commerce platform that helps consumers discover, compare and visualise furniture and home products from multiple independent retailers.

Plaiss is not a retailer and does not directly sell products to consumers unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Products displayed on Plaiss are supplied by independent retailers, manufacturers and third-party merchants (“Retail Partners”). Any purchase you make is a transaction directly between you and the relevant Retail Partner.

Plaiss may earn affiliate commission or referral fees when users click through to Retail Partners and complete purchases. This does not affect the price you pay. See Section 13 for further details on commercial relationships.

By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.

If you are using the Services on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Plaiss aims to provide accurate and up-to-date product information. However, product descriptions, specifications, images, availability and prices are supplied by independent Retail Partners and may change without notice.

Plaiss does not guarantee:

• Product availability or stock levels
• Accuracy of product descriptions or specifications
• Pricing, promotional offers or discount validity
• Delivery timescales or fulfilment by Retail Partners
• Compatibility of products with any specific room, property or requirement

You should verify all product information directly with the relevant Retail Partner before completing any purchase.

When you click a product link on Plaiss, you will be directed to a third-party Retail Partner's website to complete your purchase.

Any purchase contract is formed solely between you and the Retail Partner. Plaiss is not a party to that transaction.

Plaiss accepts no responsibility or liability for:

• Order processing, payment handling or fulfilment
• Delivery, tracking or logistics
• Returns, refunds, exchanges or cancellations
• Product quality, safety or compliance
• Customer service or after-sales support provided by Retail Partners
• Pricing errors, promotional terms or misleading descriptions by Retail Partners

Any issues relating to a purchase must be addressed directly with the relevant Retail Partner. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Plaiss provides room visualisation, product comparison and design support tools powered by a combination of Plaiss's proprietary technology and specialist third-party image processing components.

Plaiss's proprietary content-aware algorithms analyse uploaded room environments and generate visual representations of how products may appear within a space. Specialist third-party components are used for specific rendering tasks within this process.

These tools are designed to assist your purchasing decisions. They are illustrative in nature and may not accurately reflect:

• Exact product dimensions, scale or proportions within your room
• Precise colour reproduction, which may vary due to screen calibration, lighting conditions and manufacturing tolerances
• Material texture, finish or tactile qualities
• The visual effect of lighting conditions specific to your space
• Whether a product will physically fit within a room or through access points

Visualisation outputs are generated based on the room photograph you upload and available product imagery. Results will vary depending on photograph quality, room conditions and product category.

You remain solely responsible for verifying all product suitability, dimensions and compatibility before making any purchase. Plaiss accepts no liability for purchasing decisions made in reliance on visualisation outputs.

Some features of the Services may require you to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete and current information during registration
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
• Maintain up-to-date account details

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Plaiss reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

Where you upload photographs, room images, reviews, comments or other content to the Services (“User Content”):

• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant Plaiss a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, display, process and analyse your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving and developing the Services, including training and refining Plaiss's proprietary visualisation technology.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party.

You must not upload User Content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or misleading
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Contains offensive, harmful, abusive or inappropriate material
• Includes personal data of third parties without their consent
• Violates any applicable law or regulation

Plaiss reserves the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

When you upload a room photograph, that image may be processed on Plaiss's servers to generate visualisation outputs. You should ensure that any photograph you upload does not contain personally identifiable information about third parties without their consent.

Your uploaded photographs and any data derived from them will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please review that document carefully before uploading images.

Plaiss will not share your uploaded room photographs with Retail Partners or third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

All Plaiss branding, software, proprietary algorithms, visualisation technology, platform infrastructure, designs, content, logos, graphics and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Plaiss Ltd.

No content, technology or materials from the Services may be copied, reproduced, distributed, reverse engineered or used commercially without prior written consent from Plaiss.

Product images and descriptions displayed on Plaiss remain the intellectual property of the respective Retail Partners and manufacturers.

Retailers, manufacturers, brands, interior designers and trade professionals using the Services agree that:

• They own or have full permission to use all content submitted to Plaiss.
• Product information, descriptions, imagery and pricing provided is accurate and up to date.
• Plaiss may display product content across its platform for discovery, visualisation and commercial purposes.
• They will promptly notify Plaiss of any changes to product availability, pricing or specifications.

Retailer and trade partnerships may be governed by separate commercial agreements. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a commercial agreement, the commercial agreement shall prevail in respect of that partnership.

Plaiss is committed to supporting more confident and informed purchasing decisions, with the long-term ambition of enabling a more circular home commerce ecosystem — including facilitating access to sustainable alternatives, refurbishment, repair and resale.

While Plaiss takes this mission seriously, we do not guarantee any specific environmental, sustainability or commercial outcomes from use of the Services.

Plaiss operates a platform that connects consumers with independent Retail Partners. In connection with this:

• Plaiss may receive affiliate commission, referral fees or other commercial consideration from Retail Partners when users click through to their websites and complete purchases.
• Some product placements, featured listings or sponsored positions on the platform may be paid for by Retail Partners.
• Where products or placements are sponsored or promoted on a commercial basis, this will be clearly indicated.

These commercial arrangements do not affect the price you pay as a consumer. Plaiss aims to present products relevant to your search and visualisation activity, regardless of commercial relationships with Retail Partners.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plaiss shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, consequential, incidental or special losses
• Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings
• Business interruption or loss of goodwill
• Data loss or corruption
• Purchasing decisions made by users, including decisions based on visualisation outputs
• Acts or omissions of third-party Retail Partners
• Unavailability, interruption or technical failures of the Services

The Services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Where Plaiss is found liable, our total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) £100; or (b) the total amount paid by you directly to Plaiss in the twelve months preceding the relevant claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Please review those documents carefully before using the Services, particularly before uploading any room photographs or creating an account.

Plaiss reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

Plaiss is not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Services.

Plaiss may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our Services or business practices.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date and will become effective upon publication. Where changes are material, we will endeavour to notify registered users by email or through a notice on the platform.

Your continued use of the Services following publication of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.
